Therapeutic Recreation - Unified Sports brings youth and adults with and without disabilities together on a team. Participants have the opportunity to become more active, learn a new sport and improve social skills, all the while making new friends.

For ages 5 & Up
Unified Basketball is an instructional program and accommodates all skill levels.
We will compete at local as well as state competitions in early spring.
Volunteers are needed!

For ages 8 & Up
Piranhas is a Special Olympics swim team that is open to competitive and non-competitive swimmers. The team will focus on swimming technique, fitness and fun.
Swimmers must be 8 years old or older and able to swim without a partner/volunteer. Peers must be 10 years old or older and be able to swim laps with athletes.
Space is limited (due to pool size), so please sign up quickly!

If you would like to sign your child up for private swim lessons, we have instructors who work with our special needs athletes.

Your athlete CAN play golf!
This program accommodates many skill levels. If new to the sport, participants will learn the basics of driving, chipping and putting. As they begin to understand the skills, they will work their way on to the golf course.

This karate class is for individuals with special needs, designed to help them learn the positive benefits of self-discipline, gain confidence, develop coordination, and increase strength and flexibility. Various self-defense techniques will also be taught.

This class is for special needs dancers as well as their family and friends without special needs.
Learn basic hip hop moves that are adaptable to varying physical abilities.
