Teams divided North/South if participation numbers permit. North: Practices are played north of Long Point Road.
South: Practices are played south of Long Point Road.
In FUNdamental sports, requests for a particular team, coach or teammate are not considered. MPRD assigns participants to teams based on their side of town and school. However, there are no guarantees.

Registration starts March 25 - April 15, 2024. You may register online at www.mtpleasantrec.com or at the following MPRD locations: R.L. Jones Center, Park West Recreation Complex, and G.M. Darby Building. If this is your child's first time participating in youth athletics, you must provide an original or certified copy of their birth certificate or passport.

Fees: Waitlist opens April 16th. Waitlist registration must be completed at any MPRD facility, online or via telephone. However, team placement is NOT guaranteed, MPRD staff will contact you in person if space becomes available. Registration from the waitlist requires a $13.00 late fee. Make checks payable to Mount Pleasant Recreation Department.

Practices/games will begin mid/late May. Ten games will be scheduled, but only eight are guaranteed. The first two rainouts will NOT be rescheduled. Practices/games are scheduled two days per week: Tuesday/Thursday at 5:30pm or 6:30pm and/or Saturday, anytime between 8am - 12pm. All practices/games are one hour. MPRD will provide a game jersey and hat. Players must provide bat, glove, shoes, pants and batting helmet with facemask or side faceguard. Batting helmets are mandatory for T-ball.
