Safe Sitter is a babysitting class and safety training course devoted to preparing young adolescents for the responsibility of nurturing and protecting children.
Students will learn about babysitting as a business and how to become a successful babysitter. Students will experience introductory instruction in CPR, First Aid, child care essentials, safety for the sitter, injury management, preventing problem behavior and choking prevention.
Materials will be supplied. Students should bring their own lunch, snack and drink.

PROGRAM REFUND and TRANSFER POLICY:
A processing fee will be charged for each participant's request for a program refund or transfer as follows:
Activities/programs with a fee of $16 or higher will be charged $10 per activity/program.
Activities/programs with a fee from $11 to $15 will be charged $5 per activity/program.
Activities/programs with a fee of $10 and under are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Refund requests must be made at least five business days prior to the start of the class.
Please allow at least 2 weeks from the time the request is made for refund processing.
Transfer requests must be made at least three business days prior to the start of the class.
Requests must be made by an adult age 18 years or older.
